it’s really important to remember that coding agents get all of their info through file lines and have a heavy cost on writing file lines.

they truly can’t look at the project holistically unless you’ve carefully designed a way for them to do so.

they can’t and won’t rearchitect anything without explicit instruction, even if it would have long term gains.
